Would you have the bios for Acer sp111-33-p88s ? Its motherboard is the nx8106_mb_v5. I flashed the bios with the version above and won't boot.
I don't have a backup as I lost power during a flash. This is the current version bios on Acers website. I can provide S/N, SNID number or any other information you need, just let me know. Bios chip is winbond 25q64fw.
The bios doesn't work. Led power lights up, screen has no power (checked with flashlight). System won't boot - even when it sits with power on for a while. I can provide you with details or photos if needed. Just let me know.
Bios above does not work. Power led lights up. Same blank screen. External HDMI has no output, so I assume the system is not booting.
System was running fine with no issues. I flashed the bios but lost power to the building. All components check ok. It seems its just the bios, Ill try a different method with a Uefi boot recovery USB. Reading into Insyde H20 software for dos now. I know the acer sp111-34n is the same components minus the screen. The 34n has a 1080p HDMI screen like the sp111-31. I'll try the bios from that as well. I'm wondering if its motherboard differences between version 4 and version 5. I don't have any schematics to compare and finding information on this model seems to be very difficult. Battery power led shows orange on charge but changes blue when power is full. Bios reads, writes and verify off of the programmer. The ic checks out ok. I'm really scratching my head on this one. A good challenge
