    No, Not with eeprom reader. I cannot install it.
    Backup using HP Bios tool. Any other options to unlock..

    Hello, I have hp elitebook folio 1040 g2 I changed the motherboard because the old one had a shot circuit. The used motherboard came with a password. How can i reset the password? Thank you, hpe you can help me. Steve

    Any specific eeprom reader? Any special software?

    Do I need to get the chip out of the motherboard?

    Sorry for me to ask you but I have no much experience in doing it.
