Hi, I received a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 X911788-008 - i5 CPU while ago which has had problem with its bios. I tried a lot of different BIOS Dumps which only one of them worked, but not fully functional as during Windows installation process. I could only hear the voice of the windows installation guide at the background, but picture stucked on Surface logo. I'm going to try your BIOS Dump and am hoping everything works. I'm wondering if you can help to repair my BIOS Dump to use its original Serial Number and other important numbers rather than taking the random number. I would appreciate your help and reply as soon as possible. Kind regards Cyrus
Hi, I replace the BIOS Dump with yours one. I'm afraid, The result is exact the same. The original BIOS Dump taken from the Machine was damaged. I've uploaded a copy of it here. Would the problem be because of not the same ME Region? I would appreciate your help very much. Kind regards
Hi, My permission expired about 12 minutes ago and I wasn't aware of it. Is there any chance if you could email me the Cleared ME Region file? I would appreciate it very much. Kind regards
i did clear it on Friday as soon as i got your request please upgrade the account to download it thanks
Hi, maybe you can help me. After an official BIOS update, the BIOS of my Surface Pro 4 (i5, 4gb) was destroyed, so that the Surface was stuck in a UEFI boot loop. Microsoft didn't want to help. I sent the surface tablet to a repair shop. There the bios chip was exchanged for one from another, defective device. The Surface then worked correctly with the exception of the touch function due to the missing ME firmware. I need a bios file to program the bios chip that has been replaced. Should I upload the original serial number of the Surface Pro 4? Kind regards
Hi, I researched a lot lately to find a way extracting the bios data without disassembling the surface tablet. Perhaps you can recommend a software tool that can do that for me.
If you are not a technical specialist computer repair you can send the laptop to a service shop and tell them to contact me to unlock your lap top because you need to desolder bios chip from motherboard
