    I tried the passcode and it took me to BIOS setup and now it is back up and it is not working?
    It said the time wasn't right and to fix it. So I tried and It wouldn't let me so I exited with save and it prompted me for the passcode again. Did It lock me out again?

    if your system disabled is not the same the password has worked
    Now you have hard-drive password
    send system disabled code

    Ok so this is like a one time thing or something? It went to windows screen and I restarted the device to make sure it was off and go into BIOS settings to make sure no passcode is active. Well After the restart it happened again. Im so confused, I guess I have to do this everytime ?

    NOTE: Setup or BIOS menus may be locked, just go to SECURITY -> UNLOCK SETUP to unlock menus, when asked for system password just type the password that is included.

    Hey,

    I saw a forum with some info in it. I have a Dell Inspiron 3185 - P25T/P25T003 with a BIOS lock. I can not get pass, I have tried reattaching and replacing the CMOS battery. As well F2 or F12 / CTRL+ALT+DEL No luck. Are you still able to help with a BIOS lock?
    i just payed for my bios password
