    Hello,

I am trying to recover the bios on my daughters laptop after she performed an update and, I think, ended up flashing the wrong version of bios for the model she has.

Now when the laptop turns on I see the message "No Bootable Device, Hit any key". If I hit OK the screen changes to a "Boot Manager" with a Boot Option Menu but there are no options to select from.

I have the correct BIOS file for the laptop in an exe file and I've also abstracted the files from that exe so I have the *.fd file that I believe is the bios.

Could someone please instruct me on how to recover the bios from this situation. Also I note on this site that for many of the bios requests BIN files are posted. How do you use these bin files to recover the bios?

    All help is appreciated.
    Regards
    -Axel
