I have 2 identical Dell 24-5400 AIOs. One has a corrupt bios. The other is working fine. I have spent a week with multi people trying to stitch together a bios, Ive had the ROM off and Oon almost a dozen times to the point a pin finally wore off the ROM. I have a brand new one here. I have a T56 Programmer and I also have a working identical unit. With the dump from teh working unit, I can get through POSt, but it wont detect a bootable drive or the TPM device. I know next to nothing about the inner workings of BIOS. im desperate to finish this repair for a dear friend. My collection of dumps is growing for this thing, but 50 % of rthe ones ive tried either, once installed, make the AIO have NO POWER whatsoever, or the dont obviously have the service tag or any of the propper "ME" stuff?? Again i know next to nothing just seeing if someone knows how to do this that can stitch togeher my corrupt bios with a good one ?!? Any help is greatly appreciated in advance. Im new to Electrical Engineering and Computer science and PCB repair, and this is one of my first repairs and Ive been at it for 13 hours since 330am EST
