I am now able to boot the laptop with pen drive.. but when I am setting up the board details serial no and etc. it accepts it but does not reflects in BIOS. it still shows old one.
Lenovo Uone Tool - To change Serial Number or Model Information of a laptop. Instructions Extract n1ctm04w.zip and run usbfmtpw.exe Format the USB Drive Disconnect the USB Drive Extract u1u.zip (password for the zip is LenovoUone) and run u1.exe Reconnect the USB drive and hit run. Once the USB is created boot the USB Key and follow on screen instructions. UPDATE I have Included a ZIP file containing all the script that Lenovo Uone tool uses to make the process simpler. Format the USB Drive with usbfmtpw.exe as usual. Extract the contents of the LenovoUone.zip to Root of the USB drive. Reboot and Choose your USB in UEFI Boot Options and follow on screen steps. When you are Updating Thinkpad Serial Number then You have to input serial number like this Example For: Machine Type Model : 20S0002UAD Serial Number : PF2BMNC6 1S + Machine Type Model + Serial Number Final: 1S20S0002UADPF2BMNC6
