Hi I brought a replacement motherboard for my HP EliteDesk 800 G1 USDT from eBay can someone tell me how to change the serial number in the BIOS to match the old one (original serial number: CZC33038TC)? I have attached a copy BIOS copied using a CH341A programmer Many thanks John

I have a Elite x2 1012 G1 and I can access the os and I am the admin but I can’t update bios because there is a person there? I just need to access it so I can update with newest bios. What do I need to do? Change Bios? Or remove pw? And what file and program do I need to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.
Sounds complicated. I need an eeprom reader? I will see what I can do. I was hoping there was easier way to remove password. If I dont get into BIOS then I just cant update it right? Do I need to get into it if I have full access to everything else on the laptop? I am the admin already. What about a fresh install of the OS? would that change anything? Thanks
